Steven G. Shapiro
Steve Shapiro is an Advisory Partner of Sierra Vista Group. With more than 25 years of executive management and consulting experience, he has focused on translating business and financial strategies into practical and profitable solutions. Steve’s broad background and expertise include strategic and business plan development and implementation; acquisition analysis, structuring, negotiation and integration; capital markets transactions; turnaround and transition management; and corporate financial management.
Steve has held executive positions including President, Chief Financial Officer and Operating Partner in both public and privately held companies, prior to founding and also through his company, Merrimack Management Advisors. He has experience within multiple industries including, financial services, healthcare and life sciences, aerospace and automotive manufacturing, engineering and construction, logistics and, most significantly, energy and environmental services.
Steve has served several organizations and worked for many companies including Fisher Scientific International Inc., Abex Inc., The Henley Group, Inc., Wheelabrator Technologies Inc., Wheelabrator-Frye Inc. and Heritage Partners.
Steve holds an MBA in finance from Cornell University Johnson School of Management and a BA in economics from Trinity College. He also serves as a Trustee and Treasurer for The Governor’s Academy, Byfield, MA and Vice-Chairman and Director of Perspecta Trust LLC, Hampton, NH.
