Shawn Becker, Ph.D.

Shawn Becker is co-founder and partner of Sierra Vista Group. He is an experienced, versatile technology executive who is committed to creating and preserving value through innovative, reliable and scalable technology. For more than twenty years, and in a variety of companies, he has demonstrated a proven expertise in bringing technology strategy and tactics together with financial and business goals.

Shawn specializes in network architecture and software technology strategies for Internet and enterprise applications. With his research, development, design and management background, he is able to judiciously exploit new technology partnerships in conjunction with existing operations, systems and processes.

He has founded and held senior management positions in a number of privately traded companies throughout his career. Shawn has also worked with RealNetworks, The Coca-Cola Company, Eleven Technology, Intrusic, AMI Entertainment, Rowe International, HomePortfolio, Cimetrix, Ford Motor, MIT and Brigham Young University.

Shawn has a Ph.D. in media arts and sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab, an MS in computer science and a BS in design engineering technology from Brigham Young University.
