Peter B. White is a Partner with Sierra Vista Group. He is an innovative and accomplished executive with broad experience as a chief executive, chief financial officer, executive manager, investor, entrepreneur, financial advisor, and troubled-company specialist.
Peter has served both private and publicly traded companies ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 50. He has extensive negotiating involvement in mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, equity raising, corporate development, international commerce, and turnarounds and work-outs. In addition, he has been responsible for strategic planning, purchasing and sourcing, financial management, sales and marketing, research and product development, and labor relations.
During his 35 year business career, Peter has enhanced value and profits through creative product development, cost-effective delivery, and stringent financial controls. Since 1988, he has successfully owned and operated several consumer products and business-to-business companies. These affiliations have been in the distribution, manufacturing, printing, energy, and telecommunications industries. In addition, he served as a senior executive with responsibility for developing, sourcing, distributing, and selling products to leading retailers. From 1979 until 1988, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Signal Capital Corporation, a unit of Allied-Signal Inc. (now known as Honeywell), a start-up commercial finance company that grew to be multi-billion dollars in assets. He was a Certified Public Accountant for Price Waterhouse & Co. from 1975 until 1979.
Peter has a MBA degree with an emphasis in finance and accounting from New York University. He graduated cum laude with a BA degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME.
